Finally, things are slowly looking up again as we’re gradually being allowed to venture out of our homes. Many of us are weary of the streets in our house’s vicinity and are raring to go farther than the city limits. But then again, we also need to be cautious and not get carried away by this newfound “freedom.”

Circulo Verde
Tucked in a more secluded neighborhood in Bagumbayan, Quezon City, is Circulo Verde, where one can easily enjoy the outdoors given its wide open spaces. There’s the Industria Mall and the CV Sports Hub which houses the Bike Playground, CV Quad (a spacious court for basketball, volleyball, futsal and badminton) and CV Pitch, a football field featuring a well-maintained natural turf.

Dog lovers would be thrilled with Hachi Park, an off-leash dog park so named after Japan’s legendary loyal Akita, Hachiko. The spacious dog park also features water basins for the relief of thirsty pooches and waste bins that encourage pet parents to clean up responsibly.

Along C-5 Road in Pasig City is the 16-ha Ortigas East, home to sprawling shopping complex Tiendesitas, Silver City Office Campus, soon-to-rise Maple at Verdant Towers and The Glaston Tower, and other locators such as SM Hypermarket and Transcom Center.
If you missed the Spam Food Truck at Capitol Commons Park, here’s another chance to get your favorite Spam musubi, waffle sticks and cheese donuts. The Spam Food Truck will make its second Ortigas estate stop here next week from July 2 to 4. Make sure to catch it from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ortigas Land continues to enhance Greenhills.
It’s been too long since you last visited your—well, everyone’s—favorite shopping mecca. It’s currently undergoing a massive redevelopment and I can only be too excited to see how seasoned developer Ortigas Land transforms Greenhills Center. But as we wait, we might as well swing by our favorite shops, especially since establishments here have also been granted the Safety Seal.
