MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) surpassed its annual target collection for 2020 by 6.6% or P33.5billion.
In total, the BOC collected P539.660 billion for 2020, which is 106.6% of the target collection of P506.150 billion, according to an initial report of the BOC Financial Service.
For December, the BOC once again exceeded its revenue target for the seventh consecutive month by 9.1% — a total of P47.316 billion against its December target of P43.368 billion.
Furthermore, 10 out of the 17 collection districts exceeded their targets for 2020 — namely the Ports of Cebu, Tacloban, Surigao, Cagayan De Oro, Zamboanga, Davao, Subic, Clark, Aparri, and Limay.
