This year has taught us to be more perceptive of the things that truly matter. It may have forced us to slow down for a good amount of time but it also allowed us to take notice of the things that we have often overlooked.
For one, we were able to carefully reconsider our living spaces. We were reminded of how important it is to have a well ventilated home, and how much we benefit from having plants in the house. We realized that having greenery at home is necessary not just because it makes spaces pretty, but more because it does wonders to our physical and mental state.
Another lesson we learned this year is how essential it is to keep active. Whether it’s running, doing yoga or Zumba, working out consistently each day does our bodies and minds good. Get your heart rate pumping at least 30 minutes a day. Not only will it strengthen you physically, it also leads to better emotional stability and reduces anxiety.
SM Development Corp. (SMDC) unveils yet another fresh and exciting project that all of us who are into a dynamic and sustainable lifestyle can look forward to. Mint Residences, which rises along Chino Roces Avenue here in Makati City, offers a home to hardworking professionals who like living within one of the country’s ever bustling central business districts but, like me, also appreciate the calmness and refreshing benefits of living in balance with nature.
From my point of view as an interior designer, Mint Residences embodies the ideals of today’s lifestyle.
For one, its innovative architecture infuses green solutions, delivering a well-curated experience from the developer to its end users. Mint Residences features an interplay of modern, natural materials and greenery meant to bring living here closer to nature.
Its interiors meanwhile, take inspiration from Japan’s minimalist, clean and simple aesthetic—enabling you to sustain a lifestyle steeped in understated elegance but immense comfort. The modern yet timeless design shows an interplay between light and dark tones, textured and polished surfaces and, of course, accents of the color mint. The biophilic landscape design allows residents to live, work and play in healthy spaces. The green landscapes, sparkling blue lap pools, gushing waters from the floating deck and water wall, light wood finishes and pathways of river stones will surely make the amenity deck an easy favorite among residents. What’s more, the amenities were specifically chosen and designed to encourage physical activity, curiosity, openness to experiences, mindful meditation and social connections.
All these features will surely allow me to unwind after a long day of meetings, forums and other activities that are mostly done online nowadays because of the pandemic. Just lounging within the green spaces here will be a welcome relaxing treat for all my senses.
Once things get back to normal, Mint Residences’ strategic location will give you an advantage as it’s located in a vibrant and thriving neighborhood west of the Makati CBD. It is also practically less than 11 minutes away from gastronomical finds, concept restaurants, art galleries, creative business enterprises and whatever else might pique your interest in this exciting city.
Of course, being an SMDC project, this high rise along Chino Roces includes a fully integrated commercial strip, allowing its residents fast and easy access to their shopping needs. For somebody who’s also made it a point to spend more time on beauty routines, this is such a bonus.
Truly, here at Mint Residences, you won’t have an excuse to not take extra care of yourself and your future, all while living a sustainable, eco-friendly and dynamic lifestyle at a thriving part of the city.
