AirAsia offers 20% discount to security forces

MANILA, Philippines — The budget carrier AirAsia Philippines said that members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Philippine Coast Guard and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology will be offered 20-percent discounts for tickets booked on Dec. 4, Dec. 11, Dec. 25 this year and on Jan 1, 2021.

Travel dates will run from Dec. 4 until June 30, 2021, even during so-called peak periods.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to those at the front lines of combating the ongoing global pandemic,” AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricardo Isla said in a statement.
