How to cook chicken in different ways

By being one of the most versatile foods around, it’s no surprise that chicken is a staple in most kitchens. It’s so common that some consider it as bland and “nothing special”. If you’re one of those people, maybe it’s time to refresh your memory of the many things you could do with it. Here are only some of the different ways to cook chicken:

Pan-fry: One of the most common method of cooking chicken is pan-frying. You can do this all the time, but are you doing it right? Coat your chicken breast, tenderloins or thigh fillets in batter to seal moisture in and prevent overcooking. Don’t forget to put your stove over medium high temperature to prevent the breading from turning soggy in the oil.

Baking: For a more flavorful approach, baking your chicken is the answer. Baking allows you to mix the chicken in different flavors like sauces and cheese. This method is for unstructured food like lasagna that form its shape after cooking, so this is perfect for doing recipes like Chicken Alfredo.

Roasting: Roasting requires a higher temperature but it’s similar to baking since they both use dry heat. It’s also different since you will cook the chicken as a whole (instead of cutting it into pieces) for a delicious brown crust all around. This method aims to elevate the flavor of the chicken by immersing it in its own juices.

Grilling: If you’re craving for that smoky flavor, you can try the grilling method. This is considered as a healthier version compared to cooking with oils. The first step is to use a meat tenderizer to even out the chicken breasts. Since these are often uneven, missing this step can cause the thinner parts of the meat to be burnt before it is fully cooked. Marinate the pieces for a while then once you’re ready, don’t forget to preheat the grill first then cook each side for at least two minutes.

One of the great benefits of having a cooking range is that you can try different methods of cooking in a single unit. There’s no need to buy separate appliances for each method – so you are free to cook chicken in various ways.

Whirlpool recently introduced new cooking range models for its Artisan line. These models come with premium Sabaf gas burners on the stove for even heat distribution during pan-frying. Each burner also includes a cast iron pan support for added durability against heavy pans and high heat. The gas oven is designed with a safety valve that switches off the gas supply as soon as the flame is cut off to prevent gas leakage after baking and grilling. Besides this, the oven also includes a rotisserie spit for roasting – making this product the perfect tool for trying out different ways of cooking chicken.

For maximum flexibility, the new line-up has two types: you can choose from an all-gas cooking range or a three-burner plus one electric hot plate cooking range.

These models are available in the following prices:
