M Lhuillier offers faster and safer way to claim DA-RRP Cash Aid

M Lhuillier Financial Services, Inc., in partnership with the Developmental Bank of the Philippines (DBP), has set up a faster and safer way for qualified rice farmers to claim their cash fund from the Rice Resiliency Project (RRP) of the Department of Agriculture (DA).

By virtue of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 11469, otherwise known as “Bayanihan to Heal As One Act”, funds  have been allocated to the DA for the National Rice Program amounting to Eight Billion Five Hundred Million Pesos (Php 8,500,000,000.00) to support the implementation of Rice Resiliency Project (RRP) of DA Ahon-Lahat Pagkain Sapat (ALPAS) Kontra COVID-19 Program wherein industry-wide provision of major farm inputs such as high quality rice seeds and Urea fertilizers will be intensified.

This will cover provinces located in the following areas: Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Soccsksargen, Caraga and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), and supports around 800,000 rice farmers.

Eligible beneficiaries of the DA-RRP program can now claim their cash assistance through any M Lhuillier branch nationwide with their unique reference number or transaction code from DA, a valid government-issued I.D. and the expected amount from today until Dec. 15, 2020.
