Communities at the heart of Shell

/ 03:50 PM August 18, 2020

Since 1962, the Shell Tabangao Refinery in Batangas City has shown operational excellence. We strive to care not only for our operations, but also for the well-being of our communities.

Even in times of crisis, our communities in Batangas are empowered with opportunities to continue their livelihood through the collaboration of Tabangao staff and the Pilipinas Shell Foundation, Inc. (PSFI).

Women seamstresses are upskilled by the Proteksyon Para sa Bayani program, enabling them to produce face masks, face shields and PPEs. Local farmers and fishermen are supported through Ani Para sa Bayani, with their harvest made into meals for frontliners. Lastly, food items are provided to vulnerable communities through the Tulong Para sa Bayani initiative.

As we overcome the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the well-being of our communities in Batangas remain to be our priority.

At Shell, we take care of our communities. Communities continue to be at the heart of what we do.
