APEC Schools unfurls new learning methods in time of pandemic

APEC Schools, known for its progressive and tech-driven approach to learning are offering viable programs in time of the pandemic to its students for the next school year with the APEC Agile distance learning program for Grades 7 to 12 and the APEC Flex homeschooling program for Grades 7 & 8.

Established in 2013,  the 22 APEC Schools across Metro Manila and Calabarzon will be using APEC Agile, which is a teacher-led learning program designed for easy transition from online learning, blended learning, to face-to-face learning delivery. It also ensures sufficient interaction between students and Learning Facilitators even in an online environment through synchronous and asynchronous sessions.

APEC Flex,on the other hand, is a Parent-led, 100% homeschooling learning program that jumpstarts the students’ Junior High School journey in the safety of their own homes. The quality of this program’s learning delivery is strengthened with the help and expertise of Subject Matter Experts and Course Coordinators.

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected millions of lives and changed the course of economies around the world. The Philippines was not spared from the effects of this virus. Face-to-face classes were postponed since March 2020 and a number of issues still remain as the new school year will start on August. Understably,, children’s health and safety remain the number one concern among parents and students, thus the need for new learning methods.
