Upbeat about the Philippine economy’s ability to bounce back and the resilience of the Filipino people, Wilcon Depot opened in Calumpit, Bulacan, on June 26 its 60th store nationwide.

The Philippines’ leading home improvement and construction supply retailer inaugurated its Calumpit branch as an important milestone in its mission to dot the nation with stores offering top-of-the-line, innovative and sustainable products and solutions.

“As Wilcon Depot plans to expand to 100 locations nationwide by 2025 with our #FlyingHighTo100 store expansion campaign, the company is closer to our goal with the opening of our 60th store,” said Wilcon Depot Senior Executive Vice President-Chief Operating Officer Rosemarie Ong. She graced the opening rites with President and CEO Lorraine Belo-Cincochan, as well as provincial and municipal leaders.

“As we celebrate this important milestone, we are very excited to provide the local homeowners and builders across the country the high-quality home improvement and construction needs and a customer-focused shopping experience that Wilcon offers,” she added. The newly launched location treated valued shoppers to an opening day discount of 5-percent on regular priced items. The store in Pio Cruzcosa, Calumpit, is the third in the province of Bulacan, next to the Baliuag branch opened in July 2010 and the San Jose Del Monte branch which began operating just on Independence Day.
