Bringing Robinsons Malls to your doorstep

04:32 PM May 11, 2020

As Metro Manila’s citizens get themselves ready for life in the “new normal,” Robinsons Malls is introducing two innovative services that are sure to become your new BFFs.

As the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is still being felt in our cities, Robinsons Malls has made it much easier to buy essential items and food, especially for loyal mallgoers who may be understandably wary of leaving the sanctuary of their homes. With their customers’ health, security, and utmost convenience in mind, Robinsons Malls introduces the RPersonal Shopper and RDelivery Programs.

As its name implies, the RPersonal Shopper program allows you to book the services of a personal shopper who can drop by select Robinsons Malls to purchase your daily essentials, run a few errands, or even order food from restaurants operating in the mall. All of this can be done through just a few clicks on your phone!

How does it work? It’s all made possible through Robinsons Malls partnership the MyKuya app. All you need to do is download the MyKuya app, register it on your phone, and click on the Robinsons Malls logo. After that, you’re all set for a malling experience right from the comforts of your own home. The app will automatically match you with a “Kuya” or “Ate” who can accomplish your desired transactions, whether it’s purchasing food, groceries, or other items from open shops.

Payment can be made in two ways:

  1. For transactions up to PHP1,000.00, your Kuya/Ate can pay for the items first, which you can pay back when the items are delivered to your home.
  2. Your Kuya/Ate can pick up the payment from you or you can send your shopping money via GCash before buying or picking up your items from the mall.

Through the MyKuya app, you can track where your RPersonal Shoppers are in real time, so you never have to worry about a thing.  If you chose the first payment option above, you just have to settle the outstanding amount when your order arrives. Your Kuya/Ate’s service fee, which is based on the amount of time you need the service, will be automatically deducted from your registered debit or credit card that you registered on the app.

Shopping really doesn’t get any easier than that! Even better, you can avail yourself of the RPersonal Shopping service seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If, on the other hand, you’d like to transact directly with a store or restaurant and then have the ordered items delivered direct to your doorstep, the RDelivery service is just what you need.

All you need to do is check online which shops or restaurants are open (visit Robinsons Malls Viber community or Robinsons Malls Facebook page for more details), call the participating store to order, and relax while waiting for your order to arrive. RDelivery customers can pay in a variety of ways, depending on the establishment. Options include direct payment to the merchant, such as through bank account transfer, GCash, Paymaya, or Cash on Delivery. It’s that simple.

The RDelivery program is available seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m if you’re doing online payment, or from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Cash on Delivery. For both types of transactions, the maximum order per delivery is capped at P3,000.00.

For your added convenience, you can use the RDelivery service even if the restaurant you ordered from has its own delivery fleet. It’s especially useful when their riders are swamped with other orders; with the RDelivery service, you’re always the number one priority so you get your order fresh and hot.

The RDelivery program, which has a delivery fee of P125 for service areas within a 5km radius of Robinsons Magnolia (including parts of San Juan, Mandaluyong, Pasig, and Quezon City), is accomplished through Robinsons Malls’ partnership with Mober.

With the RDelivery and RPersonal Shopper programs, it is not just the customer who stands to benefit from the added safety, security, and convenience. Robinsons Malls is keen to provide extra service to its tenants as well, especially establishments without a dedicated delivery fleet, giving them the potential to reach a wider audience and boost their revenue.

The Pilot run for RPersonal Shopper has been launched in Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Place Manila, and Robinsons Forum.

RDelivery has been launched at Robinsons Magnolia. Participating food merchants include the following: Auntie Anne’s, Bread Talk, Botejyu, Buko Loco, Chatime, Classic Savory, Conti’s, Express Sincerity, French Baker, Happy Lemon, House of Desserts, Jamaican Pattie, Jollibee, Kenny Rogers, Koomi, Mary Grace, Max’s Restaurant, Nitro7 Coffee, Peri-Peri, Potato Corner, Sabroso, Tater’s, and The Clubhouse.

Robinsons Malls patrons can expect the rollout of the RPersonal Shopper program in more malls in Metro Manila and nearby cities, including Antipolo, Cainta, Dasmariñas, Galleria South (San Pedro Laguna), General Trias, Imus, Las Piñas, Magnolia (Quezon City), Malabon, Malolos, Metro East (Pasig), Novaliches, and Otis.
