Bloomberry aids medical front-liners

The group of tycoon Enrique Razón Jr. is donating P60 million worth of personal protective equipment  (PPEs) and N95 masks to the Department of Health, to help medical front-liners in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through Bloomberry Cultural Foundation Inc. (BCFI), the corporate social responsibility arm of Solaire Resort & Casino, the group has also committed to procure 100,000 test kits to help shore up the government’s supply for testing COVID-19.

BCFI’s shipment of PPEs and N95 equipment is due to arrive late next week, and will be distributed to medical front liners in various hospitals dealing with COVID-19 patients through the Department of Health.

BCFI has also applied with the Food and Drug Administration for the necessary permits for three different COVID-19 testing kits currently available in China and South Korea. As soon as the clearances and permits are issued, BCFI will procure 100,000 of such test kits.
