Local maker of hand sanitizers, soaps, echoes DTI call against panic buying

Local manufacturer Stalder Laboratories Inc. through its cosmetic trader BCP Dermatological Corporation has assured the public that it can help the government in providing ample supply to the market of highly effective hand sanitizers and soaps amid the scare created by the new Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

With this, BCP Dermatological Corporation founder, president, and chief executive officer Dina Dela Paz Stalder joined the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in advising the public against engaging in panic buying, even Metro Manila residents who were in a community quarantine for a month starting last March 15.

“Our Hand Sanitizer Gel is the perfect combination of practicality and effectiveness. The 60% ethanol formula is blended with Kiwi extract to help guard against sickness-causing agents, without drying out hands,” Stalder emphasized.

The Diana Stalder – brand Tea Tree Soap on the other hand is infused with botanical ingredients, including Tea tree oil, which has antiseptic and antifungal properties, so it’s the perfect all-natural ingredient to have in your soap, she added.

Stalder also assured that BCP products are duly registered with the appropriate government regulators, in support of the DTI’s drive against fake products.

BCP is also the producer of the country’s newest anti-aging sensation, the Time Repair Exfoliant and Time Repair Revitalizer, which are available at all dS Diana Stalder by Dermaline branches and at reputable dermatologists’ clinics nationwide.

“According to the World Health Organization, hand hygiene is the most important prevention tool against COVID-19 as it dissolves the fatty layer that coats coronaviruses, making hand sanitizers and soaps a critical component of the drive to stop the spread of the virus.  WHO has also reminded us that we should always wash our hands with soap and running water. We should frequently clean them by using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap and water.” Stalder added.
