Cathay Land delivers new landmark in South

Ananda Square is projected to benefit from infrastructure projects, which will bring the South closer to Entertainment City and Makati City.

Expect some major transformations south of Manila with one of the country’s fastest rising real estate firms at the lead.

“Las Piñas and Muntinlupa (are) 100 percent developed already. There’s virtually no more raw land. All the residential subdivisions are there already. We felt it was time to go vertical,” said Jeffrey Ng, the bold visionary at the helm of Cathay Land Inc.

Enter the Ananda Square, Alabang’s newest residential and commercial landmark. This 1.3-hectare development will be home to four towers which will offer residents unlimited lifestyle options at unbeatable prices.

This mixed-use development will rise along the Alabang-Zapote Road, midway between Robinsons Place Las Piñas and SM South Mall, and near Alabang Town Center. More importantly, Ananda Square’s proximity to various business parks in the area allows the development to be the future home of “yuppies, managers, professionals and expats who want to live in the Alabang-Zapote area, who have their place of work in Madrigal Business Park, Spectrum Business District, Northgate Cyberzone and all the other commercial and industrial establishments at the area,” explained Ng.

Prestigious learning institutions such as De La Salle Zobel, Paref Woodrose, University of Perpetual Help Dalta, Southville International School and Colleges, Centro Escolar Las Piñas and San Beda College Alabang are within the vicinity as well. Churches are nearby, while the airport is a short drive away via South Luzon Expressway (SLEx) or Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex).

“(There’s also) the extension of LRT 1 from Baclaran to Bacoor, Cavite—one of the stations of which will be at the end of Alabang-Zapote Road. So coming to Manila would be much more convenient,” Ng said. Ananda Square stands 6 km away from the LRT-1 Extension station.

As Cathay Land has been known for detailed planning and meticulous standards, future residents and locators can expect only the best from Ananda Square.

The first tower, Tower A, stands 20 stories high and will be comprised of 700 units with studio and one-bedroom cuts. Some units may be combined and converted into a two-bedroom home. Prices of units start at an attractive P98,000 per sqm which means that a 24-sqm studio unit would cost around P2.8 million while a 32.63 sqm one-bedroom unit goes for up to P3.2 million.

Most of Cathay Land’s condominium developments incorporate green open areas to promote a conducive living environment. Tower A will be built with pocket sky gardens on every other floor to promote good air flow. There will also be an open-air courtyard, a communal area for residents, where they can enjoy sunrises and sunsets amidst lush and verdant surroundings. These features will allow residents to have spaces where they can relax and appreciate the views, as well as breathe in some fresh air.

Another special amenity of Tower A will be the Aquatrium, which will include a pool deck, a lap pool and a kiddie pool.

“The Aquatrium is a unique amenity in Cathay Land’s residential developments. We hope that the future residents of Ananda Square will enjoy its distinct resort feel,” Ng shared.

There will be a study lounge as well, especially designed for students who are residents of the property. Unit owners celebrating special occasions may use the social hall for their banquets or big gatherings.

Cathay Land is building Ananda Square to not only be a place for people to live in, as it can also be a business location.

Business owners-slash-residents may want to consider leasing the commercial space in the first three floors of Towers A. Among the shops expected here include a supermarket, a good number of restaurants, a gym, spa and laundry services.

“Our strip mall will not only provide convenience to Ananda Square unit owners and residents of the greater Alabang and Las Piñas communities, but it will also provide avenues for enterprising individuals to set up their small- and medium-sized businesses right in the comforts of their home. You can easily attend to business and home needs via a short elevator ride,” Ng explained.

Expected date of completion for Ananda Square’s Tower A is by the end of 2022.
