Arden Botanical Village brings you closer to nature

Arden Botanical Village was designed to highlight the beauty of the landscape where it sits through the natural groves of mature trees, waterways and ponds, promenades and parks, and jogging paths.

There is a fairly good reason why many seek to be closer to nature.

Scores of studies have already shown that living in spaces where one can readily commune with nature—or at least, be near a healthy green foliage and the fresh air it brings—can do great wonders to the overall health and wellbeing of a person. More specifically, living closer to nature has been found to encourage a more active lifestyle, reduce exposure to pollution and toxic substances that cause debilitating respiratory diseases, while the peace and quiet can easily allow one to relax and rejuvenate, far from the stresses and hurried pace of life in the city. All these are expected to boost one’s wellness across many fronts including physical, social, even mental and emotional.

As such, many are willing to pay a premium or even go so far as trading some modern conveniences to have a sanctuary that bring one closer to nature.

Just south of Metro Manila, however, is an exclusive residential enclave that affords one the much sought benefits of living in a community surrounded by natural groves of healthy mature trees, natural waterways and ponds, sprawling lush greeneries, expansive open spaces, promenades and parks, as well as jogging paths.

Rising within the progressive city of Trece Martires in Cavite is the Arden Botanical Village by property giant Megaworld Corp., which is poised to deliver to buyers and investors here the benefits of living close to nature within an 18-hectare expanse.

This upscale residential village will be located inside the 251-hectare Arden Botanical Estate, a sustainable community to be developed jointly by Megaworld and its subsidiary brand, Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (GERI).

Paulo Alcazaren, renowned Filipino landscape architect and environmental planner, designed the exclusively-gated Arden Botanical Village with the idea of ‘building around and with nature.’

“Arden Botanical Village will be built around the natural features that thrive in the estate, providing purposeful, livable spaces for its residents. Because the location is naturally gifted with greeneries that couldn’t be found in any other residential villages, we want to preserve and highlight them in our development,” said Eugene Em Lozano, first vice president for sales and marketing of Megaworld.

The exclusively gated Arden Botanical Village, which was thoughtfully designed by renowned Filipino landscape architect and environmental planner Paulo Alcazaren, takes inspiration from Scandinavian architecture—a primarily minimalist philosophy that emphasized clean lines and simple designs that were inspired by nature and climate. For some, Scandinavian architecture means a natural way of life that helps one stay close to nature even in urban surroundings.

A much awaited highlight of the Arden Botanical Village will be the Centrera Park that will be surrounded by trees and waterways. Within this park is the village’s clubhouse which will offer a curated lineup of amenities for the exclusive use of the residents and their guests. A natural swimming pool will be part of the amenities and village landscape, a trend that has gained popularity in European neighborhoods.

Further exuding that European vibe would be the planned thematic bridges, landscaped walkways, bike lanes, and interactive water features. Houses and village amenities, including the village showroom, will feature minimalist form and clean lines with panoramic windows that look out, and make a pleasant contrast with the village’s verdant landscape.

A home at Arden Botanical Village is a welcoming haven surrounded by abundant greenery and open spaces. Among the features and amenities residents can enjoy include thematic bridges, landscaped walkways, bike lanes, and interactive water features that all put physical, social, and mind wellness into focus.

“Future residents will find themselves enjoying quiet moments with nature around the village, promoting not just physical wellness, but also improves social and mind wellness. This residential development’s suburban charm and gorgeous unique landscape make it a perfect setting for personal retreat even for the generations to come,” Lozano explained.

What’s even better is that the existing and the expected completion of key infrastructure projects near or within Cavite offer the ease and accessibility, enabling one to go to and fro Metro Manila. This sustainable estate is just an hour and a half away from the Makati central business district (CBD), and about an hour away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

The Arden Botanical Village currently offers a total of 329 lots, with sizes ranging from 280 sqm to 609 sqm. Lot prices at the Arden Botanical Village, the first residential project to be launched inside the Arden Botanical Estate, will range from P18,000 to P22,000 per sqm. Future homeowners will get to enjoy all these benefits and more upon the village’s completion by 2024.
