Villar home needs retail venture now has 30 stores as it seeks PH dominance

Newly-listed home improvement retailer AllHome Corp. has breached the 30-store milestone in October, in line with its bid to build as many stores in as many places nationwide.

For October alone, AllHome opened three stores in the affiliate locations Starmall Alabang, Starmall San Jose del Monte Bulacan and Vista Mall North Molino.

“We remain confident with our expansion program for the rest of the year,” AllHome chair Manuel Villar Jr. said in a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Thursday., Nov 7.

“We are taking advantage of the underpenetrated home improvement industry in the Philippines by bringing AllHome to more locations,” he said.

Camille Villar, AllHome vice chair and daughter of Manuel, said the target was “at least double market share” and also double selling space by 2020.

“Expansion is focused on Mega Manila for now, but the longer-term plan is to take AllHome to the rest of the Philippines,” she said.

“We are not just expanding our store network but we are also increasing our customer base,” added Benjamin Theresa Serrano, AllHome president. /TSB
