Without a doubt, Avida Land has proven to be way ahead of its game as it started serving the mid-market long before it ever created a buzz locally, and had started to capture the attention of most property developers.
As early as 1990, Avida’s predecessor, Laguna Properties Holdings Inc., already laid the foundation for the creation of quality middle-income housing units and communities that are safe and conducive for raising families. From its first subdivision project in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, it then ventured into its first residential condominium project in Sucat, Parañaque in 2003, before rebranding to Avida, which means “to celebrate life.”
Even at the onset, Avida Land has proven to be quite adept, focus-driven on its goal to make affordable dream communities a reality for the hardworking middle-income Filipinos.
Unrivaled leader
Today, Avida remained the undisputed, unrivaled leader in the mid-market segment, with 92 projects in 25 thriving locations spread across the country.
Despite its already expansive footprint, Avida continues to venture in new territories while further diversifying its product offerings that cater to an ever-growing market—from land and house, condominiums, office property development, to integrated mixed-use communities and districts. In all these, Avida aims to provide a complete community experience to its residents guided by our core values as a brand and as a company.
From 2010, Avida has been aggressively expanding, with 2018 proving to be a banner year for this “recognized leader and preferred provider of integrated, masterplanned and sustainable communities for middle income Filipino families.”
Its stellar performance, as reported by its parent firm Ayala Land Inc., and the numerous awards for 2018 alone speak of Avida’s excellence, credibility and business prowess as well.
In 2018, Avida Land was one of the growth drivers for Ayala Land. For the said period, it launched 12 projects valued at P29.6 billion. These include the Avida Towers Sola Tower 2 in Vertis North Quezon City; Avida Towers Vireo Tower 2 in Arca South, Taguig; and Avida Towers Atria Tower 3 in Iloilo.
According to Ayala Land’s 2018 annual report, bookings from Avida Towers Sola Tower 2 in Vertis North, Quezon City; Altura Tower 2 in South Park District, Muntinlupa City; and Asten Tower 3 in Makati City; and the higher completion rate of Sola Tower 1 in Vertis North fueled Avida’s 16 percent revenue growth to P24.22 billion. Avida completed 11 projects and turned over 9,049 units in 2018.
In Metro Manila, Avida Land turned over phase one residential units in Arbor Lanes, Veranda, and Avida Towers One Union Place, while construction of phase two continues.
In Vertis North, Avida Land turned over to buyers all three towers of Avida Towers Vita, while in Cloverleaf in Balintawak, Quezon City, Avida Tower 2 was launched last year, while the Avida Tower 1 is set to be completed and turned over by the third quarter of 2019.
At the Alviera estate in Pampanga, phase one residential units of Avida were turned over in the first quarter of 2018, while construction is in progress for Avida Northdale Settings. In Iloilo City, Avida Atria Park District Tower 2 and mid-rise Avida Storeys Tower 2 are fast-rising and set for completion in 2020, while construction of Tower 3 is in full swing.
Awards
Fittingly enough, the achievements and triumphs of Avida Land crossed the radar of many reputable award-giving bodies, as evident in the scores of citations and recognitions the company received last year.
At the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards last year, Avida Land scored two Gold Awards: one is Marketing Campaign of the Year–Real Estate for the Avida Land Choose to Move Campaign; and another one, the Website Award–Real Estate for Avidaland.com. It was also awarded a Bronze, Publication Award for Best House Organ for Customers: Avida Living.
