On 3 September 2019, RTC Br. 93 of Quezon City issued a Writ of Preliminary Injunction in relation to the case HDI Admix, Inc. and Media Puzzle, Inc. v. Melchor Miras, Jr. Cherry Ann S. Carrera, Raul Bautista, Gerardo Rafael C. Togle, Antonio A. Ligon and Aileen S. Gozun, Civil Case No. R-QZN-19-09633, ENJOINING and/or PREVENTING, Mr. Melchor Miras, Jr. Ms. Cherry Ann Carrera, Raul Bautista, Gerardo Rafael Togle, Antonio Ligon and Aileen S. Gozun, and any persons acting on their behalf from :
(a) Misrepresenting themselves as directors and/ or officers;
(b) Assuming the functions, duties of MPI’s directors and officers; and
(c) causing any further damage and prejudice to the business and affairs of the MPI, its majority stockholder, HDI during the pendency of the case.
The Writ of Preliminary Injunction was issued pursuant to the Order dated 27 August 2019 which found the nominees of HDI Admix, Inc, Mr. Darmo N. Castillo, Mr. Raoul Buencuchillo and Ms. Pamela Maureen S. Fernando, to have a clear and unmistakable right to assume their functions as directors and officers of Media Puzzle Inc, free from any interference of Mr. Melchor G. Miras and his group.
The public is likewise notified that in the Order dated 27 August 2019 rendered in Civil Case No. R-QZN-19-02404, the Writ of Preliminary Injunction dated 17 May 2019 that was previously issued in favor of Mr. Melchor G. Miras and against HDI Admix, Inc. was declared DISSOLVED following the DISMISSAL of the case.
In view of the foregoing, the Board of Directors of Media Puzzle is composed of the following: Mr. Darmo N. Castillo (President and Chairman), Mr. Raoul L. Buencuchillo and Ms. Pamela Maureen S. Fernando (Corporate Secretary and Treasurer), unless the court declares otherwise.
