Families and young professionals looking to invest in a great home understandably have their considerations. This of course easily includes being part of a community that fosters excellence and quality education.
That is why Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI) has boosted its partnership with leading educational institutions. These collaborations are integral to creating centers that promote growth and connectivity.
Master-planned developments that have top-of-the-line amenities, coupled with access to modern campuses with state-of-the-art programs and facilities, can only offer attractive and desirable places to live.
“Ayala Land’s estates are unique in the sense that they greatly improve the experience of living in a city through their interconnectivity and the availability of all fundamental needs in one compact and sustainable community,” said John Estacio, Estate Head of Nuvali in Laguna and Alviera in Pampanga. “One such fundamental need is education, and our partnerships with schools and colleges ensure that families are provided with quality learning opportunities in close proximity to their homes,” Estacio added.
Given this, Estacio cites its partnerships with schools in strategic locations across the Philippines.
Learning Zones in Alviera
The Alviera in Central Luzon has “learning zones” as platforms that capture educational excellence. These zones are designed to be the platform for educational excellence that will serve students from around the region through schools such as Holy Angel University (HAU) and Miriam College.
“HAU’s campus in Alviera will ultimately cater to all educational levels and will include support facilities such as a chapels, athletics venues, and dormitories over a 10-hectare land area. The school is targeted to become operational in the next 5 years,” said Estacio. Meanwhile, Miriam College is seen to stand on a 10-hectare campus, with course offerings in both senior high school and college, with programs along the fields of arts, design, management, and technology.
Education in Laguna’s eco-city
In relation to this is a joint effort between Miriam College and ALI and their plans to establish a campus in another notable location that’s distinguished as being the first and largest eco-community developments—this is Nuvali.
Miriam College also partnered with ALI to establish a campus in Nuvali, the country’s first and largest eco-community development which straddles the cities of Sta. Rosa, Cabuyao and Calamba in Laguna. The school chose Nuvali because of the rapid economic growth in the Laguna area, and more importantly, Miriam College’s and ALI’s shared values of sustainability, community development and environmental advocacy.
Sitting on another 15-hectare property in Nuvali is Xavier’s new 21 st -century learning campus. The school’s grounds and facilities provide for different types of learning, and are equipped with the proper IT infrastructure that enables the school to promote 1-to-1 computer-based instruction.
Recently, International Catholic school Everest Academy which sits on a 20-hectare property south of Nuvali, welcomed its first batch of K-12 students. The school has 3 buildings, a church, sports complex, library and other complementary facilities.
Learning And Growth in Vermosa
Not too far away from Nuvali, De La Salle Santiago Zobel forged another partnership with ALI for an extension campus in Cavite’s Vermosa estate. Through its existing student programs in various fields of academics, science and technology, sports, arts and music, DLSZ Vermosa offers a dynamic learning community that inspires discovery and holistic development.
Students at the Vermosa campus can also hone their athletic skills at the world-class Vermosa Sports Hub, which would be available as a training facility for DLSZ’s athletes and national team members who represent the Philippines in both local and international competitions.
ALI Doubles Up in Visayas and Mindanao
ALI’s estates also extend its merits in educational greatness through renowned institutions such as Ateneo de Iloilo and Enderun Colleges that are situated in the Atria district in Iloilo and Azuela in Davao, respectively.
Since its establishment in 1988 and after its pioneering development of the country’s premier financial and commercial district now known as Makati Central Business District and Ayala Center, Ayala Land, Inc. now has a total of 26 sustainable estates and is present in 57 growth areas nationwide.
