OLONGAPO CITY, Philippines–This city gets another mall as property giant SM Prime Holdings is set to open its 73rd mall.
Local officials and SM Prime Holdings representatives on Thursday led the launching and blessing ceremony of the four-storey mall dubbed “SM City Olongapo Central.”
The 71,943-square meter mall is situated in the city’s business district along Rizal Avenue.
It is SM Prime Holdings’ second mall in this city after SM City Olongapo Downtown.
This city has 233,040 population based on the 2015 census.
Mall officials said it will serve shoppers in Olongapo, Zambales, Bataan, and other nearby provinces.
The mall boasts of soaring glass walls, shaded arcades, terraced planters, extended green walls, and mosaic pavement tiles are bringing texture, scale, unity, and life to the area.
