Daiso, Japan’s number one livingware retail store known for its wide variety of products priced from P88, has recently launched its latest look and logo, an initiative that covers its thousand-plus stores worldwide.
The new look is now in place in some Daiso Japan stores in the Philippines, notably at its 92nd branch at the recently-opened Robinsons Galleria South in San Pedro, Laguna. It is located at Level 3 of this sprawling mall that has been complimented by many for its artsy and playful designs. More Daiso Japan branches in the country will soon carry the new interiors and logo.
Clean, modern vibe
The store at Robinsons Galleria South has a modern, Zen-like look with hints of the Sakura vibe of Japan. Clean lines are apparent in the way the interiors were designed, with aisles that are spacious and easier to navigate. Products per category are displayed more efficiently making it easier for customers to find what they are looking for.
“We have new products such as a wider range of make-up, facial care products, hair and beauty accessories on the cosmetic table. Customers can touch and feel what’s on display for a full customer experience,” says Katherine Yu, General Manager.
Also noticeable are the bigger rack spaces allotted for each category such as Stationary, Office Supplies, Children and Infant toys and personal needs, Home Improvement, Home Accessories and Decor, Electronics, Audio, and Mobile segment, Kitchen Ware, Footwear, Japanese Ceramics, Functional Household Items, Arts and Crafts, Fitness and Exercise items, Sports, Gardening tools, Pet Food and Accessories, and Linens. Also highlighted in the new stores are Disney’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse school supplies and accessories, Gudetama and Hello Kitty/Sanrio items. There is likewise a whole range of storage products such as lunch boxes, food keepers, jewelry organizers, shoe racks, laundry, and trash bins and huge containers to keep the bulky household or personal stuff. All products are sourced from Japan to ensure the authenticity of the Daiso brand.
Another piece of good news is that Daiso Japan will reach a major milestone in 2019 with the expected opening of its 100th store in the Philippines by year-end.
“Our quality items, passion, extensive selection, interesting ideas, great service, friendliness, cleanliness, and funky style provide a fun shopping experience. This is definitely what Daiso Japan is all about!” Yu concluded.
