SM opening newest mall in Olongapo City

MANILA, Philippines – Property giant SM Prime Holdings is opening this Friday (Sept. 13) its 73rd shopping mall in the Philippines:  a new lifestyle mall in the highly-urbanized city of Olongapo in Zambales.

Situated in Olongapo’s primary business district, along the bustling Rizal Avenue in Barangay East Tapinac, SM City Olongapo Central is a four-story complex with a floor area of 72,000 square meters.

This will be SM Prime’s second lifestyle mall in Olongapo, a first-class city.  It will open with 85 percent of its space already leased out to tenants.

“Olongapo City remains as one of the fastest-growing cities in Central Luzon, creating a wonderful synergy on economical and sustainable development. SM City Olongapo Central will not only enhance the beauty of this thriving city, and its province, but will also create more jobs and business opportunities to locals who aspire to grow with our company,” SM Prime president Jeffrey Lim said.
