Asia United Bank’s Gold Dollar Fund bags its 4th CFA Society Philippines’ Best Managed Fund Award
Asia United Bank’s Gold Dollar Fund wins CFA Society’s Best Managed Fund Award in the Dollar Medium–Term Bond Fund Category for four consecutive years.
The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society Philippines’ Best Managed Fund of the Year Awards has been the global standard of excellence in the investment industry since it launched in 2016, recognizing the country’s high-performing funds open to retail investors, based on their risk-adjusted returns.
A total of 89 funds from 16 investment houses and Trust Institutions competed in this year’s search for the Best Managed Funds and the best-managed funds were awarded at the Philippine Junior Finance and Investment Summit 2019 held last September 7, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center–Manila.
“Consistency is the key to our success. And having been recognized as the best-managed fund for 4 consecutive years by the CFA is proof of this. In AUB, our objective in managing our UITFs is to always provide the best returns at the least possible volatility. With this, investors in our funds can be assured that their investments are safe.” said Andrew A. Chua, senior vice president and head of Trust and Investments Group of AUB.
The AUB Gold Dollar Fund is a dollar-denominated bond fund suited for clients who are willing to absorb principal risk associated with changing market conditions. Its investment objective is to achieve the best rate of return by investing in a diversified portfolio of fixed income securities and to achieve a rate of return equivalent to the rolling yield of the 5-year US Treasury Notes net of fees. The modified portfolio duration of the Fund’s investments shall not exceed five (5) years.
Receiving this award for four consecutive years is a clear testament of Asia United Bank’s constant commitment to deliver investment products suited for its clients’ needs which aim to maximize and achieve high investment returns through its professional and expert fund management services.
