Ever dreamed of becoming a hero? Join Greenfield City’s National Heroes’ Day month-long celebration where you can get the chance to be a real-life hero and shop epic bargains of up to 80% off!
Every Saturday throughout August, a “hero station” supporting a certain cause will be set up at Plaza Regina, Paseo Outlets and be opened to the public. The dates, partners, and activities will be as follows:
August 3 – Hero of the Environment
Partner: Pure Oceans
Activities:
- Donate collected plastics
- Sign up for ocean cleanup drives
August 10 – Hero of Children
Partners: UNICEF, Operation Smiles Phil., Bahay Tuluyan
Activities:
- Donate clothes/toys to orphans
- Help kids with cleft palate
August 17 – Hero of Animals
Partners: Animal Kingdom Foundation
Activities:
- Adopt rescued dogs
- Help save dogs from being slaughtered
August 24 – Hero of Health
Partner: Red Cross
Activities:
- Help save lives and donate blood
On August 24, the celebration’s Grand Hero Fair will take place, reuniting all partners to give everyone another chance to be a hero of each cause all in one day including past activities like Pure Ocean’s plastic collection drive and Bahay Tuluyan’s toy donation box.
The day will also be the official start of the National Heroes’ Day Mall-wide Sale, offering big discounts on big-name brands.
The sale, which will last until September 1, features the country’s biggest outlet stores of adidas, Converse Philippines, Oakley Vault, Giordano, and Nine West.
The Philippines’ only outlet stores of Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, west elm, Speedo, American Eagle Outfitters, and National Book Store will also be joining.
Other participating brands will be Nike, Levi’s, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams, and Bench along with the international brands they distribute locally such as Mothercare, La Senza, Cotton On and Charles & Keith.
“On this year’s celebration of National Heroes’ Day, we’re taking it a step forward. More than simply celebrating our regular national heroes, we want to provide a venue where everyday Filipinos can become heroes themselves.” says Atty.
