USSC celebrates everyday Pinoy heroes with ‘Super Ka Dito’
Despite its lofty title, National Heroes’ Day does not only commemorate prominent figures in local history, but also honors unknown Filipinos, both past and present, who have contributed much to the cause of freedom, justice, and nationhood. Celebrated as early as 1931, this one-day commemoration remembers all Philippine national heroes, particularly those who don’t have their own special holidays or observances.
In line with their nationwide campaign “Super Ka Dito!”, leading financial service store network USSC puts a spotlight on everyday Filipino heroes through their month-long ‘USSC SuperHeroes’ Day’ campaign in key cities across the country.
“We want to celebrate National Heroes’ Day. But we also want to celebrate the lives of our everyday heroes who tirelessly make our work and life better.
