New PAL president and COO, EVP pay courtesy call on CAAP head
MANILA Philippines — Philippine Airlines President and Chief Operating Officer Gilbert Santa Maria, together with PAL Executive Vice President / Treasurer / Chief Administrative Officer Vivienne K. Tan visited the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Tuesday.
The two PAL officials reiterated the flag carrier’s pledge of commitment to help address the country’s aviation industry challenges.
The courtesy visit to CAAP Director General Jim Sydiongco by Santa Maria and Tan is part of the first wave of visits to the offices of aviation industry stakeholders.
The visit highlighted the second working day of Santa Maria as PAL President and COO after being unanimously confirmed by the PAL Board of Directors during a meeting held on Monday.
