Upscale country club living at Alviera

Alviera, the joint development between Ayala Land Inc. and Leonio Land that is fast rising in Porac, Pampanga, recently unveiled its 5.6-hectare sports and leisure hub, Alviera Country Club.  The newly opened premium recreational center is expected to further drive residential, business and tourism growth this part of Central Luzon.

One is spoilt for choices at the Alviera Country Club.  It has a network of swimming pools, a fitness gym and studio, multiple courts, a spa, game room, mini cinema, karaoke rooms, ballroom, meeting rooms and restaurants.  For the club’s design, Leandro V. Locsin Partners worked on the concept of harmony of urban living and nature, to complement the idea that the 1,800-ha Alviera estate espouses.

“With the landmark opening of the Alviera Country Club, Alviera is positioned to be the center of sports, leisure and recreational activities in the area,” said Melanie Eugenio, project development manager of Alviera.

Guests are given a warm welcome at the country club’s Entrance Pavilion which directly opens to a central space with reflecting pools and a landscaped main walkway.  At the ground floor, the Events Pavilion features three meeting rooms, a main boardroom, an open multipurpose hall and a small al-fresco café. The second level boasts of a big grand hall which can accommodate 500 to 600 guests.  It can also be split into two ballrooms. A seemingly expansive pre-function area runs the entire length of the grand hall and here, guests are treated to a view of the pools and the mountains that serve as a backdrop to the country club while mingling about.

Children and adults will both enjoy the expansive swimming pools right in the center of the country club.  Parents can go for an energizing swim at the six-lane lap pool while kids have the time of their lives at the kiddie pool which practically feels like a water park complete with a splash pool, water jets, fountains and a slide.  Lounge pools are also available for members who simply want to sit back and relax.

An air conditioned Kiddie Zone, which is an indoor play area, awaits the little ones as well.  It has a nursery, a changing room for children and dedicated lockers to keep your mini-me’s belongings safe as he or she runs around with her new-found playmates.

Sports enthusiasts and fitness buffs will love Alviera Country Club’s spacious fitness gym and its state-of-the-art equipment.  It also features a studio for those who practice yoga. The Sports Pavilion has multiple indoor and outdoor courts for tennis, badminton, basketball and volleyball.

Those who need to soothe their tired muscles and relieve their body aches and pains can head to Inawa Spa which offers various massage and spa treatments.

Whether you’re in the mood for some old school fun or you’re a techie, the Game Room at the second level offers board games and the latest video game consoles.  There are also karaoke rooms where you can sing to your heart’s content and a 21-seater cinema where one can view the latest blockbusters.

A gastronomic experience awaits foodies at Manyaman, the club’s main restaurant, which features Kapampangan specialties as well as Western dishes.  Must-tries are the bulalo, kare-kare and the tibok-tibok, a native delicacy made from fresh carabao’s milk. Sabyan Cafe offers freshly brewed coffee, fruit juices and snacks. Sports fans can hang out at Galo Sports where they can watch their favorite games and teams or play a round of darts or billiards while feasting on good food and drinks.
