UnionBank recognized as among PH’s ‘best companies to work for in Asia’

MANILA, Philippines — Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) has been recognized as one of the country’s best companies to work for in Asia in 2019.
UnionBank bagged HR Asia’s “Best Company to Work for in Asia 2019” award on Friday, July 5. HR Asia is considered as Asia’s most authoritative publication for senior HR professions.
The award, which covers 12 markets across Asia, is given to corporations with high levels of employee engagement, exemplary workplace culture, and people practices.
Other factors that were also considered are employee satisfaction, and advancement and development opportunities.
Companies were judged by an independent panel of industry experts, academics, journalists, and government representatives based on the HR Asia Employee Input Survey and HR Asia Workplace and Employee Engagement Survey.
In the Philippines, 190 companies participated in the 2019 survey and 23 winners were declared, according to HR Asia. (Editor: Jonathan P. Vicente)
