Cainta: The gem of Rizal
Considered as the Philippines’ richest municipality, today, Cainta is as charming as it is prosperous.
Known as the “Bibingka Capital” of the country, Cainta remains rooted in cottage industries and traditional practices.
The town, however, has seen the rise of commercial establishments and transportation nodes in recent years. Due to its proximity to Metro Manila, it is urbanized, well-populated and thus features the best of both provincial life and city convenience.
Infrastructure
Cainta is set to join various cities of Metro Manila in having direct access to public train. The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) is currently constructing an extension to connect Cainta, Pasig, and Antipolo to Manila. This new development is expected to shorten the travel period from Masinag, Antipolo to Recto, Manila by 40 minutes.
