Duterte administration officials are preparing to present the ambitious “Build, Build, Build” program for financing where it matters most—the fourth annual meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) next month.
The 2019 AIIB meeting in Luxembourg on July 12-13—the first time that a member-country outside Asia will be the venue of the yearly gathering—will host the Asian Infrastructure Forum (AIF).
The AIF would serve as venue to create what the AIIB said were “connections” and develop “project pipelines.”
Although the forum would feature workshops on private equity investments, financing for energy projects and AIIB policies, it would also allow delegations from the Philippines, Bangladesh and Uzbekistan to present investment opportunities in their countries, the Beijing-based AIIB said.
