FlySpaces, Southeast Asia’s leading digital marketplace for flexible workspace, seeks to help Philippine micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) affected by the recent earthquakes return to normal business operations through the free use of its coworking office facilities.
The technology startup has offered one-month free passport subscription to companies and entrepreneurs affected by the earthquake.
“If you are a big company you have a plan in place, if you are a small company or an entrepreneur, you risk bankruptcy if you can’t deliver your product and services for a couple days,” FlySpaces CEO Mario Berta said.
Last week’s earthquakes are a reminder that natural disasters are a reality that businesses have to deal with.
“FlySpaces have been thinking of what we could do in an attempt to ease some uneasiness and feel more prepared in the future. Yet the other reality is that creating a business continuity plan can be expensive and not realistic for everyone to have in place. We hope that our FlySpaces passport system, which we offer for free to anyone affected by the earthquakes, will not only make creating a business continuity plan simpler, but accessible for everyone so we can all move into the future with confidence,” he said.
The passporting system gives companies access to more than 20 coworking spaces across the metropolis.
As part of its advocacy, FlySpaces offers a package whereby companies can avail themselves of the service only when needed.
