The property landscape in Bonifacio Global City is tremendously growing. It has been the most progressive city in the metro for the past eight years. And envisioning its rapid growth and potential clientele in the area, Living Innovations dynamic Ferdie Ong decided to open the posh Minotti Showroom in BGC a couple of years ago.

The showroom was recently the venue for an exclusive celebration with Philippine Tatler Homes in partnership with Living Innovations to unveil the magazine’s recent Luxe Issue and mark the brand’s latest collections. Together with Ferdie, Philippine Tatler’s Irene Martel Francisco and Mia Borromeo welcomed their guests.

Mingling around the impressive showroom, design lovers at the intimate affair lounged among stunning contemporary furniture pieces presented in various vignettes, which included sitting rooms, bedrooms and dining areas that showcased the Italian brand’s 70th anniversary collection.

FEATURED STORIES

Minotti’s furniture is known globally for elegance of form, simple design, and continuity of tradition under the direction of the renowned Milanese architect and interior designer, Rodolfo Dordoni, who has led the brand’s design vision over the past 20 years.

Its multifaceted 70th anniversary collection reveals a design approach rooted in vibrantly diverse cultural backgrounds.

From Italy, Dordoni reaffirms his distinct style, reminiscent of the world of contemporary art. From Japan, Nendo brings his light graphic touch, subtle poetry that runs through his designs. From France, Christophe Delcourt brings back the affection of French culture for decoration, precious materials, artisanal surfaces and master-cabinetry combined with high-end technology. From Brazil, Marcio Kogan borrows elements and materials from boating and nature, abolishing the boundaries indoors and out.

To compliment the Minotti collection, check out the newly redesigned Bang & Olufsen boutique in Shangri-la Plaza Mall.

The 140-sqm showroom is one of the first locations in Asia to boast the latest look, which reflects the excellence and luxury associated with the Danish brand. This sensory store for cutting edge devices features clean and immaculately white walls and warm parquet floors in a classic herringbone pattern.

Displayed in the boutique are its latest products which range from flat screen TVs, portable and floor speakers, headsets to earphones. Also handled by Living Innovations, Ferdie talks passionately about being the official distributor of Bang & Olufsen in Manila.

According to Ferdie, B&O is known for its unique way of combining sound, design and craft—the three pillars that are said to define the brand and give rise to a collection which is highly sought after.

Created in collaboration with globally acclaimed designer Michael Anastassiades, BeoSound Edge transforms the everyday mundane to music mastery and adds aesthetic value to the home. The circular shape allows for two placement options: on the floor or mounted on the wall like a train station clock.

Proximity sensors detect when you get close to the speaker, discreetly illuminating the aluminum touch interface. Volume can be adjusted by rolling the BeoSound Edge forwards and backwards. With Directional Sound Control, BeoSound Edge allows the user to define the direction where the sound radiates from, creating two acoustic fronts, which means a room can be divided into an active or passive listening area.

Alternatively, you can choose to blast true 360-degree room-filling sound from both sides of the speakers to fill the entire space.

Taking inspiration from the architectural and interior trends of using warm colors and contrasting materials, Bang & Olufsen introduces the limited-edition collection of the most popular multiroom speakers: the iconic and powerful BeoPlay A9 floor speaker, the Beoplay M5, BeoSound 1 and BeoSound 2 with 360-degree sound and the all-new BeoSound Edge speaker. The two new smart speakers beautifully combine Google’s Voice Assistant (GVA) expertise with Bang & Olufsen’s relenting focus on sound excellence and superior quality.

Designed by Torsten Valeur from David Lewis Designers, BeoSound 1 GVA is crafted for portability and comes with a rechargeable battery while BeoSound 2 GVA needs a permanent power connection.
