Scale up your leadership skills this new millennium with the Leaders’ Circle

Upgrade leadership levels and gain positive results in the workplace

In a rapidly changing workplace, there is no denying the fact that the kind of leaders that we know may not fit in today’s many dynamic work organizations. Thus, a change in perspective for today’s managers on how they will lead is inevitable.

Today’s generation of leaders should not just sit comfortably in their chairs but should be accountable, responsible and actionable. According to Leslie Allan, author of books on employee capability, training and change management, and a Divisional Council Member for the Australian Institute of Training and Development, said that “without action, the best leadership information and values amount to zero organizational results.”

On April 5, 2019, the Leaders’ Circle, a community of professionals and entrepreneurs who provide infinite opportunities for leaders, will showcase an event entitled “Scale UP Your Leaders,” a one-day learning session that aims to provide participants with enough information on how to upgrade their leadership skills.

Conceptualized by Leaders’ Circle founder Eric Caeg, the event will offer 30 percent “Theoretical” and 70 percent “Actionable” frameworks that will help attendees, mostly employees in Supervisory or Managerial roles, to upgrade their leadership skills and perform with positive results in their respective workplaces. The event will gather some of the country’s best minds in terms of entrepreneurship and organizational and leadership skills as speakers.

Prof. Karen Gayle “KG” Sison LPT, CPM, taught Marketing and Economics at the St. Scholastica’s College in Manila. She is a graduate of De La Salle University with a degree in Educational Psychology and earned her Diploma in Corporate Finance from the Ateneo De Manila University and Master of Arts from the University of the Philippines. She will speak about how millennial leaders can significantly contribute to the company’s goals.  

Ms. Amrei Dizon, CPM, ME, is from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business with a degree in Masters in Entrepreneurship. She also finished her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Visual Communications degree at the University of the Philippines. She is also a digital strategist and is the Chief Executive Officer of Vital Strats Creative Solutions, Inc., which have helped numerous firms by crafting much-needed direction for their brands.

Talking about the “HR’s Role in Strategic Talent Management” will be Ann Loraine “Hapi” Zamora-Velasco, MBA, the former Training Manager of the Robinsons Retail Group.  Hapi holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. She finished her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Miriam College.

Meanwhile, PJ Lanot, a graduate of the Ateneo De Manila University with a degree in Management Communications Technology, will talk about “Follow the Sales Leader.” PJ was the former Media Strategist of Starcom Media Vest, the country’s largest media agency that handled JG Summit, Unilab and Del Monte, among others. He currently hosts shows at PTV 4 and is also a host at DZMM Teleradyo’s “Magsasaka TV.”

Also speaking is Prof. Mark Vincent Co, CPM, MBA, on “The Sales Leader.” He is a former professor of Marketing at San Beda University and currently heads the Sales and Marketing division of his family’s appliance business, Fair N’ Square. Prof. Mark Co is also a Certified Marketing Practitioner.

Finally, Organizational Development Strategist, Eric Caeg, CPM, CEI, PEC, ME, will talk about “Leadership 4.0 and Emotional Intelligence for Today’s Leaders.” Eric is a Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and professionally trained coach. He holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), and is currently earning his doctorate in Organizational Development from the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute (SAIDI) School of Organization Development

“Scale UP Your Leaders” will be held on April 5, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura, McKinley Parkway and C-5 Road corner 26th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is presented by SMX Aura, SMX Academix, and SM Aura Premier through Walid Wafik, Vice President-General Manager, SMX Convention Center, Agnes Pacis, Vice President for Sales and Marketing, SMX Convention Center, and Sheryl Perea, Senior Branch Head, SMX Convention Center.
