Located at One Uptown Residences in Uptown Bonifacio, Taguig City, MediCard Uptown adds to MediCard’s growing list of free-standing clinics.  “Our goal is to build clinics in areas where we have a high concentration of corporate clients, members and prospective members, such that they can access quality and affordable outpatient medical services near their offices or their residences,” explained MediCard president Dr. Nicky S. Montoya.

Those residing or working in the area can now have their annual physical exam, pre-employment exam, executive check-up, medical evaluation, laboratory, radiology and imaging, ECG, nebulization and minor surgery at Medicard Uptown.  The clinic also offers general/pediatric medicine, surgery, obstetrics & gynecology and ENT consultations. Dental services, treadmill stress test and drug testing will be made available soon.

Primarily focused on outpatient care, MediCard’s free-standing clinics combine expertise, integrity and efficiency to deliver timely ambulatory clinic solutions.

According to Doc Nicky, “All doctors are board-certified, giving patients an assurance that they are under expert care, while nurses and clinic staff undergo rigid training in patient service.”  MediCard also invests on the latest laboratory and diagnostic machines for more efficient patient care.

With each clinic’s non-intimidating, friendly vibe and helpful personnel, members and even non-MediCard members are promised a “high quality patient journey” whenever they visit.  “Patients can get the same care from what they are getting from hospitals at a fraction of the cost,” said Doc Nicky.

Aside from its free-standing clinics, MediCard aims to transform the standard in healthcare service by bringing in the latest technology and adding more services as possible.

The MACE (MediCard Access Express) App, for instance, will soon allow digital collaboration between MediCard’s doctors and patients for an improved patient experience.  Patients will also be able to access their medical results easily through MACE.

“We ensure that there is high quality patient journey even before a patient enters the clinic,” Doc Nicky said.  “Right now, for instance, patients can request consultation through the MACE app,” he added.

Although the app is still undergoing further improvements, Doc Nicky sees this as something MediCard members can look forward to as it utilizes mobile technology to provide healthcare access anytime, anywhere.

“Once completed, the app will be connected throughout the MediCard ecosystem to deliver high quality care.  We also look forward to clinic expansions to serve more patients nationwide,” Doc Nicky concluded.
