Oil firms to implement fuel prices adjustment on March 5

Rollback for diesel and kerosene; hike for gasoline

MANILA, Philippines — Prices of diesel, gasoline, and kerosene will be adjusted on March 5.

Oil companies announced Monday they would implement a P0.10-centavo increase in the price of gasoline while diesel and kerosene prices would go down by P0.10 centavos.

This will be the fifth price rollback for diesel and kerosene since January 1. However, a total of eight increases in prices of gasoline had been recorded since January 1.

In all, prices of fuel have increased seven times since the start of the year.
