Property developer Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (Geri) is expanding the residential offerings in its 561-hectare Southwoods City township in Laguna.
The builder, a subsidiary of real estate giant Megaworld Corp., said it would start work on a second high-rise called The Burgundy Tower of Tulip Gardens. The project will rise 22 stories high and will have 361 units.
The project is slated for completion by 2024 and is poised to generate some P1.3 billion in sales.
“The interest of buyers in Southwoods City is overwhelming, and this has been the trend since we introduced our first residential development, the Holland Park, three years ago,” Rachelle Peñaflorida, vice president for sales and marketing, Megaworld Global-Estate, said in a statement.
According to the company, on offer are units ranging from studio, with sizes of up to 24.5 square meters, and one-bedroom with balcony, with sizes of up to 41.5 sqm.
The project will be located near the Southwoods Mall and the Sto. Niño de Cebu Parish. The three-level Southwoods Mall officially opened in 2017.
The developer also underscored its location of about 30 minutes away from the Makati Central Business District and Fort Bonifacio.
The project’s amenities include jogging paths, adult and kiddie pools, pool deck and cabanas, fitness center. It will also have a so-called active zone for children. This will have an indoor playroom and outdoor playground, and an expansive multipurpose hall.
