FEATURED STORIES

This ultra functional showroom displays its chic and excellent top of the line kitchen appliances for Filipino homes. It has a working kitchen that served as a stage where some of the country’s top chefs had some wonderful cooking demos.

The brand highlights its prized 7 Series Gas Range, induction cooktop, island hood, ovens in varying sizes, wine chillers, food warmers, to the biggest all freezer all refrigerator in the market today.

Viking Range was founded in the United States and has been part of American homes since 1987. In 2013, the brand was acquired by The Middleby Corp., a global leader in the commercial food service equipment industry. Its local arm, Middleby Worldwide Philippines Inc., is the official distributor of Viking Range here.

This synergy not only allowed Viking Range to introduce cutting edge, award-winning kitchen appliances to the market, but has also expanded its global reach with Middleby’s established international presence.

The strategy is to incorporate innovative cooking features and technology from Middleby’s leading kitchen brands into the Viking Range residential line. The results are high performance and beautifully designed home kitchens that allow anyone to cook like a pro.

The utmost style and standard are worth the investment since it becomes heirloom pieces that can be passed on to the next generation. All appliances are built for everyday use of families cooking dishes daily, to chefs who enjoy preparing gastronomic delights.

Last week, Viking Range hosted a lunch to celebrate its continuing partnership with the Red Charity Gala. For three consecutive years, the kitchen appliance brand has given significant auction items in support of the gala’s fundraising activities.

The annual charity event showcases Filipino ingenuity through artistic executions. It has been raising funds for the Philippine National Red Cross and Assumption High School Batch 1981 Foundation for 10 years. With a retail value of more than P200,000, the Viking Range 30” Rangetop was auctioned off at the last Red Charity Gala.

Together with me as Red Charity Gala’s chairperson, and Tedrick Yau, Viking Range’s PR, the lunch was held at the Viking Range Showroom in Alabang.

Chef JP Anglo prepared a locally inspired menu dominated by the rich bounty of the sea. Adding to the meat selection was the delectable Roasted Chicken in Batwan Curry. Dessert stayed truly Pinoy with the Turon dipped in Chocnut Syrup.
