Those looking for the charm and warmth of the rustic countryside while, at the same time, seeking to enjoy luxury living need not to look far.
Set against the green and lush mountain ranges and flora of Tagaytay is Woodlands Point, with its exclusive and premier log cabin promising to be a charming hideaway at the heart of Tagaytay Highlands.
The 12-ha low density community consists of homey ski resort-inspired luxury log cabins. The homes are made of Western red cedar, a durable and handsome species of wood from Canada that lasts a lifetime and gives off a fresh, fragrant scent.
Nestled on one of the most elevated terrains in Tagaytay Highlands, Woodlands Point offers panoramic vistas of the Canlubang Country Club, Laguna de Bay, and verdant mountains. Its residents and guests can expect to wake up to the clean smell of the air brought about by thousands of Norfolk pine trees, and enjoy the cool weather all year round.
Woodlands Point’s log cabins range from 239 to 320 sqm in size. Large picture windows give homeowners an unobstructed refreshing view of the outdoors. The living and dining areas are built with high ceilings, thus allowing natural light and ventilation. Spacious bedrooms have en suite toilets and baths, while kitchens are semi-furnished with a refrigerator, cooking range and range hood.
Tagaytay Highlands has more in store as the premier mountain resort celebrates its 25th year in April this year.
For one, it will be relaunching its funicular railway that serves as a mode of transportation from the Belle View area to the Madre de Dios Chapel or Midlands Walk. The Swiss-made tram cuts guests’ and residents’ travel time by 5 minutes and enables one to enjoy the sights from Tagaytay Highlands. “It’s a tram like no other in the Philippines,” noted Jaime S. Humarang Jr., marketing communications director of Tagaytay Highlands.
“For 2019, we’re going to be completing all the renovations,” Humarang disclosed. “Those are for the amenities that are not only functional but are also recreational. We have a lot of restaurants and additional facilities in the sports center like a kiddie play place, an entire floor devoted to kids. We’re opening new coffee shops in 2019, which are locally developed, just in Highlands,” he explained.
Four new projects will be launched this year, a combination of lots and condominium units.
Indeed, life in Tagaytay Highlands is like living the quiet life in the mountains with all the luxury, comfort and convenience that one will ever need.
