SYKES Asia, Inc. wins big at 2018 Asia Leaders Awards & 2018 Stevie Awards

For its continuing commitment to excellence, SYKES Asia, Inc., the pioneer in the call center industry in the Philippines, was awarded CSR Company of the Year and BPO Company of the Year in the recently concluded Asia Leader Awards 2018 held last November 15 at Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

As CSR Company of the Year, Sykes manifested the significance of profitability and company values, as well as demonstrated leadership, commitment, real-world impact from business, community and actively encouraged corporate participation beyond financial contributions.

Moreover, SYKES successfully bested other organizations for the coveted BPO Company of the Year award. Apart from exhibiting world-class skills, thinking, innovation, creativity and execution across the full spectrum of BPO functions, SYKES also showed significant commitment to driving and improving the business process outsourcing industry in the country.

Now on its 8th year, the Asia Leaders Awards recognizes and acknowledges remarkable business leaders and organizations in Asia for their continuing commitment to excellence, developing best practices and innovative strategies.

The recognition SYKES reaped from the Asia Leaders Awards was followed by, yet, another accolade, this time from the prestigious Stevie Awards which honored SYKES’ Vice President for District Operations – APAC, Ms. Cherry Wong with the Silver Stevie Winner for the Female Executive of the Year in Asia, Australia or New Zealand category.

No less than 200 members of five juries deliberated and chose Wong over a slew of nominees for the way she run SYKES in the region.

The Stevie Awards is the world’s premiere business awards created in 2002 to honor and generate public awareness and zeal over the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. The winners were announced on November 16, 2018 at the Sheraton New York Times Square, New York City.
