Quantity Solutions Inc. (QSI) recently presented the Astoria Hotels & Resorts Group with the Nation Builder Award. The award is based on the following criteria: countryside investment, local talent development, championing local engineering and job creation. The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Inc. (AmCham) copresented the award, which strongly reflects the values that AmCham espouses, specifically “contributing to the civic and economic development of the Philippines.”

QSI President Rynor Jamandre stated, “The award is given to an individual or company who has continuously contributed to the economic development of the countryside with focus on human capital. This award aims to recognize the value of these developments in shaping the future of our Filipino families.”

In his acceptance speech at the awarding ceremony, Astoria Hotels & Resorts President Jeffrey Ng extolled his hotel group’s initiatives towards economic inclusion. To that end, Astoria Hotels & Resorts has always been developed with an eye towards economic inclusion and effective countryside development.
