Property tycoon Andrew Tan-led Megaworld Corp. has unveiled its first residential project in its Arcovia township project along C5 in Pasig while ramping up development in this P35-billion estate.
The first residential development is the 37-story 18 Avenue de Triomphe, which will have 576 residential units with total sales value of P4 billion, Megaworld said in a press statement on Tuesday.
To be completed in 2023, 18 Avenue de Triomphe will have a swimming pool, children’s playground, outdoor fitness park, game and entertainment room, fitness center, event hall, outdoor lounge and a viewing deck.
The units will be overlooking the various attractions of the township including the Arco de Emperador, a 62-feet high arch monument inspired by the Arco de la Victoria of Madrid.
Intended to be the centerpiece of the 12.3-hectare Arcovia township, the Arco de Emperador is designed by Spanish sculptor Gines Serran Pagan. The monument has bronze statues of three horses, two lions, two trumpeting angels and the emperor on a chariot, symbolizing power, strength, passion, and self-made success.
“Our vision for this new township is to inspire the young generation to persevere and work harder to attain their own successes and victories in life. There is a deeper story embedded into this development, and we will tell that story through the installations and attractions around the township,” Megaworld senior vice president Kevin Tan said.
