Suntrust continues to soar
Suntrust continues to reward and motivate its people who, in turn, provide output that allows the company to aspire for something bigger and greater.
Arriba! Suntrust! Arriba!
Such was the battlecry of the entire Suntrustees team, led by its formidable leader, Suntrust Properties Inc. president Atty. Harry Paltongan, during the company’s 2nd Quarter Awards held recently at the Le Pavillon in Pasay City.
“It is a call. Arriba is Suntrust’s direction wherein we aim to move further upwards. We inspire our Suntrustees to aspire for something greater than now. We have a huge number of full time Suntrustees and we want them to see this partnership as something mutually beneficial for us both,” Paltongan shared.
The call was made during the company’s quarterly celebration, which was meant to share tales of success, while recognizing each member’s inspiring story and immense contribution to the growth of Suntrust.
Heartwarming showcase
Filled with a positive vibe that comes from each Suntrustee, this event served as a festive and heartwarming showcase of what it truly means to be a part of an ever-growing organization like Suntrust Properties.
“The key to this partnership is that it’s mutually beneficial, in which everyone sees their important role in the company’s progress. And from it, they also profit individually,” Paltongan said.
Aware of the value of the Suntrustees in the overall structure of its operations, this trusted developer continues to reward and motivate its people who, in turn, deliver service and provide output that allows the company to aspire and reach for something bigger and greater.
“The management does not only look at the result—we look first into their dedication, diligence and malasakit for the company. We do not look at our Suntrustees as mere quotas or sales figures, but as human beings like us aspiring to be great,” Paltongan shared.
“They are the lifeblood of the company and hence, entitled to much respect. We intend them to be with us for the long term and so we have the responsibility to enhance their skills and support them. This support is performance-based and it gives them a lot of discretion to chart their marketing and selling plans,” he further said.
Grander journey
And this year, as Suntrust continues to embark on an even bigger task and a grander journey with its acquisition of Stateland Inc., it is determined to provide its people the necessary tools and the right motivation to help them exceed their goals.
The acquisition is expected to give Suntrustees an expanded portfolio of offerings which is seen to further boost the company’s rank in the industry.
“Stateland is just one of our expansions and it is set to complete the range of horizontal products of Suntrust. And while it may seem challenging at first because this company used to be served by external brokers, we are now in the process of converting it into being served by full-time Suntrustees,” Paltongan related.
Greater heights
Indeed Suntrust has come a long way. A venture born in a time of a crisis, its leaders and partners were able to turn the tide and eventually steer the company to greater heights. And to date, no effort among its members is left unrewarded as Paltongan himself believes that every Suntrustee must be able to inspire to become bigger, better and brighter every day.
“For those who are new to the organization, it’s ok to start small because every journey starts with the first step. But eventually, with their dedication they will manage to grow,” he added.
Indeed, no valuable sales efforts were left unrewarded during the event. Suntrustees from regional branches (Bacolod, Davao, Tagum and Baguio) even flew in to attend and receive their awards personally. Gifts, plaques and trophies were received by top performers while raffle prizes were also given away, including home appliances and gadgets.
The festivities started with a grand dance parade wherein each division wore their assigned festival costumes with pride and vigor as they danced and chanted. Cash gifts awaited the festival winners as well.
Arming Suntrustees
Moving forward, Paltongan hopes to further motivate and arm the Suntrustees with the much needed tool to consistently thrive in this highly competitive and thriving industry.
With the continuous growth and expansion of Suntrust Properties, Paltongan knows that he must continue to motivate the people to take to heart the real value of becoming part of the Suntrust family.
“The increased inventory itself is a motivation for the Suntrustees. They see it as a further opportunity to expand their people and network. It also adds credibility to our clients. And yes, it adds more responsibility for us to reflect more on our deficiencies and to act on them,” Paltongan explained.
“That is our aspiration and the diligence and enthusiasm of our selling Suntrustees inspire us to do so. So arriba is also our wake up reminder as a company,” Paltongan concluded.
