One out of every 10 deaths is caused by cancer making it the third leading cause of morbidity and mortality coming next to heart and vascular system diseases.  To be given this diagnosis creates a huge impact not only financially, but also emotionally.

Cancer patients, especially those who are children, need a lot of love and support from their family and even the communities around them as they go through this difficulty. With that, Fujidenzo, the country’s leading marketer of quality home and commercial appliances, reached out to the Cancer Ward of National Children’s Hospital in Quezon City.

“Fujidenzo is known for producing durable and energy efficient appliances because our goal is to give the highest level of satisfaction to all our customers. Since quality is our number one priority, we also aim to provide quality of life to others through CSR programs like this.” said Joy Catiis-Cruz, Marketing Manager of Fujidenzo Appliances.

Aside from bringing cheer to the children and their families by providing an afternoon of fun and entertainment, the company also donated some basic necessities, small appliances, as well as a refrigerator where the hospital can store highly perishable medicines. “As part of our company’s corporate social responsibility, we at Fujidenzo, organize various CSR programs like this to somehow ease the burden of the families at the hospital and to also give back to the community,” said Cruz.

Fujidenzo would also like to acknowledge Hapee Kiddie Toothpaste, AVC Advertising and Marketing, Allure, The Ad Creator Marketing and Communications, and Shirt Dimension, whose generous support also made the event possible.

A disease should never define a person; these children were confined in hospital walls at an early age depriving them of a happy childhood. These children need to know that they are not alone.

Should you also wish to extend your assistance, you may visit them at the National Children’s Hospital located at 264 E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City, or you may get in touch with Ms. Marjorie R. Salvino at (0917) 830-3822.
