Oil companies raise diesel, gasoline pump prices
Oil companies raised pump prices anew a week after Iran and the United States traded threats, heightening tensions that analysts said could increase crude prices to $150 per barrel.
The latest domestic price changes saw an increase of 95 centavos per liter of diesel and P1.15 per liter of gasoline, effective at 6 a.m. on July 31.
Those which have announced price increases include Pilipinas Shell, PTT, Total, Flying V, Seaoil, Caltex and Phoenix. Shell, Flying V, Seaoil and Caltex also raised kerosene prices by 85 centavos. —Ronnel W. Domingo
