It was no sheer luck that a company founded by two long-time colleagues hit it big in their first year.

Apart from putting in long hours of tedious, hard work, business partners Vanessa Geronimo-Uy and Fred Ryan Infante III were more importantly driven by a shared fervent passion and the same ambitious goal that will lead them to embark on what could be the most daunting, yet fulfilling undertaking in their career: to put up CitySky Realty Corp., their own real estate services company.

“Creating a company where I could do more than just selling or serving one market segment was a dream I’ve always had. And while I’ve had years of experience in a number of companies, it was in real estate that I’ve really grown as I learned the art of selling. Thus, putting up CitySky Realty Corp. seemed only natural,” said Geronimo-Uy, president and co-founder of CitySky Realty.

“I’ve always been into sales and into establishing my own company. After I graduated, I worked for a while but it didn’t take long for me to put up my own business. I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of selling and the work that goes with it. I worked in Dubai as a sales manager but when I came home in 2010, a friend of mine invited me to join his team of sales agents for a real estate firm. This was how I got to appreciate even more the dynamics behind the real estate business,” shared Infante, co-founder and vice president of CitySky Realty.

It was in the same real estate company that Infante met Geronimo-Uy, both of whom were able to make a significant mark, showing the kind of resolve the other has while reaching their respective quotas in selling condominum units to a market that has just started to appreciate high rise living.

“We’ve seen how hard each of us work just to make sure that we are on top of our game. Real estate or property selling is one difficult job, and one must have the skills and the drive in order to make a change. It wasn’t easy when we first came in. There were real challenges, but I guess that’s what we have in common—the desire to succeed and make a real difference,” Infante related.

CitySky Realty will continue to serve the needs of the our clients and offer them opportunities for growth. It is our aim to partner with more developers and provide the market with an even more diverse offering,” Infante said.
