Wilcon Depot Lipa offers great value, wide selections to homebuilders
Wilcon Depot opened on Friday its 46th large-format home construction retail outlet in Lipa City, Batangas, as part of the company’s plan to expand its presence in the country.
Wilcon Depot Lipa, located at Brgy. Bugtong na Pulo along President Jose P. Laurel Highway, is the second Wilcon Depot store established by the company in Batangas. The other branch is located in Batangas City.
Wilcon Depot Lipa boasts of over 10,000 sqm in sales area, accommodating thousands of strong and reliable local and international brands in the market, arranged in an organized and clutter-free layout inside an air-conditioned store.
Wilcon SEVP-chief operating officer Rosemarie Ong said the latest store is a testament to the company’s commitment “to bring its retail stores across every city and province in the Philippines in the hopes of providing every Filipino household the Wilcon experience when it comes to their home and construction retail needs.”
The objective goes with the company’s tagline: “Building Big Ideas.”

It would also help raise the standards for home improvement and construction product retailing in the area.
With a ranking of 6th in the Top Next Wave Cities in the Philippines, Lipa City is already considered as a first-class component city that is fast becoming a major commercial, medical, institutional and financial center in Batangas. It is also home to business process outsourcing centers, technological hubs, hotels, and residential developments.
Ong said customers can expect to find the same service, solutions, and first choice products the Wilcon brand is known for in the new store. Wilcon Depot is particularly strong in tiles and sanitary wares. Its Living, Kitchen, and Bath (LKB) showrooms are also remarkable in terms of products mix and aesthetic value.
As the country’s most preferred one-stop shop that provides great value and selection for building needs, the store aims to deliver an “excellent and unparalleled services” to Batangueños in Lipa, Ong added.
It has pioneered the “Design Hub” inside its stores, wherein customers can create their desired 3D layout through a computer software, which also provides them with a product list and cost estimates.
Wilcon carries exclusive top-tier brands like Grohe and Kohler Sanitarywares, Franke Kitchen Systems, Pozzi Bathroom Solutions, Koller Whirlpool Bathtubs and Shower Enclosures, Ariston Water Heaters, Geberit Monolith Puro, Bull Outdoor Products and Rubi Tile cutter. Its Tile Studio section houses Spanish tile brands Alcalagres, Grespania, Rocersa, Cifre, Emigres, Keros and Tesany alongside with Italian tile brands Novabell, Energie Ker, Gardenia, Leonardo and Naxos, together with Asian tile brands Arte, Sol, Lola, Huanqiu, Verona, Picasso Mosaic, Roman, Mulia, Kia and Basel.
Natuzzi Editions, Heim home interior and housewares, Heritage furniture, and Hamden Kitchen appliances are exhibited at the Living, Kitchen, and Bath (LKB) showroom. Kasch bathroom accessories, Sefa specialty bathroom faucets, bathroom accessories, showerheads and kitchen organizers, Crown and Prussia Kitchen Sink, Electron Generators, Direct Hardware, Truper tools, Alphalux lighting solutions, PTech PVC mouldings, Forest wood products, and Solutherm PPR pipes are displayed in the DIY section of the store.
Wilcon will open five more stores before the year ends. The new stores will be located in Zamboanga; Tayabas in Quezon; Davao; GenSan; and Puerto Princesa.
Wilcon Depot president and chief executive officer Lorraine Belo-Cincochan said the company plans to reach 67 stores by 2020 as part of its ongoing expansion drive.
