Wilcon Depot opened on Friday its 46th large-format home construction retail outlet in Lipa City, Batangas, as part of the company’s plan to expand its presence in the country.

Wilcon Depot Lipa, located at Brgy. Bugtong na Pulo along President Jose P. Laurel Highway, is the second Wilcon Depot store established by the company in Batangas. The other branch is located in Batangas City.

Wilcon Depot Lipa boasts of over 10,000 sqm in sales area, accommodating thousands of strong and reliable local and international brands in the market, arranged in an organized and clutter-free layout inside an air-conditioned store.

Wilcon SEVP-chief operating officer Rosemarie Ong said the latest store is a testament to the company’s commitment “to bring its retail stores across every city and province in the Philippines in the hopes of providing every Filipino household the Wilcon experience when it comes to their home and construction retail needs.”

The objective goes with the company’s tagline: “Building Big Ideas.”

“We, at Wilcon, work round-the-clock to ensure that top-grade products and services are provided and catered to our beloved and loyal customers. With our highly trained and competitive staff and sales personnel, we guarantee that your shopping experience would be superb and extra great,” Ong said.

Wilcon Depot Lipa’s grand opening celebration started with a motorcade along the nearby towns, which was participated in by Wilcon’s valued suppliers and industry partners.

Wilcon’s choice of Lipa City for its new store also highlights the company’s intention to contribute to the economic progress of the city through job creation. It would also help raise the standards for home improvement and construction product retailing in the area.

With a ranking of 6th in the Top Next Wave Cities in the Philippines, Lipa City is already considered as a first-class component city that is fast becoming a major commercial, medical, institutional and financial center in Batangas. It is also home to business process outsourcing centers, technological hubs, hotels, and residential developments.

Wilcon Depot is particularly strong in tiles and sanitary wares. Its Living, Kitchen, and Bath (LKB) showrooms are also remarkable in terms of products mix and aesthetic value.

As the country’s most preferred one-stop shop that provides great value and selection for building needs, the store aims to deliver an “excellent and unparalleled services” to Batangueños in Lipa, Ong added.

It has pioneered the “Design Hub” inside its stores, wherein customers can create their desired 3D layout through a computer software, which also provides them with a product list and cost estimates.
