Cal-Comp Technology transforms PH with innovative products, facilities
Imagine a mall, hospital, or theater with artificial intelligence support and robotics. Now imagine that scenario being possible in the near future through technology available right here in the Philippines.
Cal-Comp Technology (Philippines), Inc., the local arm of global tech conglomerate New Kinpo Group (NKG), is looking to bring artificial intelligence, robotics, and more as it looks to penetrate the domestic market and take the Philippines into the future.
Through its state-of-the-art and high-quality manufacturing components, Cal-Comp Technology plans to develop and offer their own-branded products which are intended to boost the capabilities of Filipino industries as well as Filipino individuals and households.
According to NKG and Cal-Comp Technology CEO Simon Shen, the company is able to produce technologically-advanced products through its state of the art equipment and strength in automation.
“Although we rely on almost 10,000 employees in the Philippines alone, we use automated equipment to help us speed up our manufacturing process. This is vital in keeping our customers satisfied with product quality and reaching our output targets,” says Shen.
Cal-Comp Technology also monitors its entire manufacturing process and inventory in real-time through its Virtual Factory System. The system utilizes barcodes to trace raw materials and monitor quality, making it easy to detect defects in products and equipment. The system also provides engineers automatic alerts, which allow them to address any potential production issues quickly.
