The 23rd Graphic Expo 2018, a resounding success
Truly, the Graphic Expo is an institution, a trade exhibition on creative imaging, signs and printing technologies in the Philippines. This year’s edition was successfully staged with disruptive technologies and innovations that can change the world of business last May 31-02 June 2018 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia, Pasay City, PH.

(https://www.fmi.com.ph), as the Organizer of the 23rd Graphic Expo 2018, launched ‘Design Matters’ in an exhibit spanning 7,500 sqm. with 250 booths and 100 Exhibitors displaying the latest state-of-the-art technologies in one marketplace of graphics, creative imaging (photo and video), printing and publishing, signs and out-of-home, multimedia, and many more. These are business solutions that help entrepreneurs and business owners grow, scale and expand their businesses.
Various special events were rolled out for 3 days
The Opening Ceremonies which was participated by various camera clubs, print sponsors, local and international exhibitors, trade visitors and guests; awarding ceremonies for the winners of the Graphic Expo T-shirt Design Contest and Drone Photo-Video.
The 23rd Graphic Expo 2018 honored the heroic experiences of veteran photo journalist, Linus Guardian Escandor II, for photo documenting the Marawi siege and special tribute to the pioneering advertising photographer in the country, John K. Chua (†).

The Board of Judges awarded 7 winners with a cash prize of PHP10,000.00 each and Plaque of Appreciation in the Graphic Expo T-Shirt Design Contest 2018. The winners are: Alice Bland Murro, student from Miriam College, Quezon City; Mary Ann Cuevas from Sta. Ana, Manila; Daisy Ann Sabornido Cipre from Matungao, Bulacan; Jeffrey Salut from Mabini, Batangas; Roel Robert Aquino from Mandaluyong City; Katrina Blanca Antonio from Rodriguez, Rizal; and Pauline Villapando, student from Miriam College, Quezon City.

3 entries for each category for Drone Photo and Video were chosen and awarded by the Review and Selection Committee.

‘City of Gentle People’ by Adel Mikhael Tulio, Rank 1st
‘The Beauty of Bohol’ by Angel A. Baldapan, Jr., Rank 2nd
‘Landscapes of New Zealand’ by Jose Luis Partoza, Rank 3rd
Trade Visitors were inspired by the creative photographs of the 8 Camera Clubs in Photo Galleries: Digital Light Philippines, Neutral Ground Reborn, Photomarket Philippines, Prima Camera Club, Zone V Camera Club, Wedding and Portrait Photographers of CALABARZON (WPPC), Wedding and Portrait Photographers of the Philippines (WPPP) and Wild Bird Photographers of the Philippines (WBPP).
The Wedding and Portrait Photographers of CALABARZON (WPPC) showcased gorgeous and elegant gown designs by Maestro Ramon Santiago in Wedding Fashion Show; and a sexy photo sessions in Body Painting.
