Doing more than home building
Property developers have a bigger task on hand.
More than just building homes and communities, real estate companies are also expected to provide a healthy, holistic environment that is conducive enough to nurture individuals and to raise families. Amenities and features of a certain project, particularly for vertical spaces, must afford residents a certain level of comfort and convenience to better cope with the stresses of daily urban living.
For Empire East Land Holdings, such a task seems to come naturally. And in fact, it even goes beyond what is expected of any property developer.
This developer, for instance, created niche innovative developments that cater to specific, varying and changing needs of today’s residential market.
One innovation was the transit-oriented developments that are suitable for those seeking for accessibility and convenience. Such projects offer utmost ease for its residents as these provide a direct link and immediate access to some of the country’s major transport hubs. Empire East is also offering easy financing schemes to allow more Filipinos to purchase and own a decent home.

A part of the company’s celebration of its 23 years in the industry, this CSR program was rolled out last year through a series of small-scale humanitarian events that sought to give back and share happiness with people in the community.
These events included “pROOFs,” a partnership with Gawad Kalinga that sought to provide shelter to the less privileged families in Muntinlupa City; “strEATs” was meant to nourish street kids and families in Metro Manila by providing them with a decent meal; the “Blanket Project,” which was aimed at extending warmth to the Marawi siege survivors by giving them new blankets and sleeping mats; and “heART,” which was meanwhile targeted to harness creativity among young students in the province through art workshops.
Special recognition
Such a milestone event did not just touch the hearts of its beneficiaries, but had also caught the attention of award giving bodies that it merited a citation during the 6th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards. More specifically, Empire East was conferred Special Recognition in Corporate Social Responsibility for its “Empire East Cares” program.
“As our country prospers, there will always be pockets in the community that are left behind. We, at Empire East, believe that it is our responsibility to take care of these communities. We will continue to work very hard to deserve this recognition,” explained Empire East CEO and President Atty. Anthony Charlemagne Yu.
“Empire East thanks the organizers and judges from PropertyGuru for its honest work of offering deserving companies and shining light on the dynamic and booming real estate industry,” Yu further said.
Highly commended
Meanwhile, Empire East was also conferred the Highly Commended Status for The Rochester under the Best Mid-End Property Development in Metro Manila category.
The Rochester in Pasig City is one of Empire East Land’s offerings under the urban resort residence category. It is said to be a leading choice in this area, which is only three kilometers away from Bonifacio Global City, thus enabling homeowners to enjoy the multitude of offerings from this bustling financial and lifestyle district.
Currently, The Rochester is offering easy monthly payment scheme of as low as P18,000 for a two-bedroom unit, which further makes it an appealing choice for the discerning families who wish to earn that premium condo life at a reasonable price.
