SM City Telabastagan is the 70th SM mall in PH
Property giant SM Prime Holdings has opened a new shopping hub in Pampanga, marking the 70th mall in its Philippine mall empire.
SM City Telabastagan, which opens on Friday (May 18), also marks the fourth SM mall in this highly urbanized province. The new mall offers 55,000 square meters of gross floor area to the portfolio of SM Prime, likewise now among the largest property developers in Southeast Asia in terms of market capitalization.
“The unwavering support of our fellow Pampangueños and the fast-growing economy of the province have led us to open yet a new mall, this time in Telabastagan. Alongside our first three malls in the province, SM City Pampanga, SM City Clark, and SM City San Fernando Downtown, we see SM City Telabastagan contributing further to the continuous development of Pampanga, providing both job opportunities and modern lifestyle and entertainment to its residents,” SM Prime president Jeffrey C. Lim said in a press statement on Thursday.
SM City Telabastagan, which is located along major thoroughfare McArthur Highway, will open with two floors of shopping, multi-cultural dining and entertainment zones adorned by indoor pocket gardens.
SM City Telabastagan is opening with 84 percent of space awarded to tenants. It will also feature six digital cinemas alongside popular local and international brands such as The SM Store, SM Supermarket, Uniqlo, Surplus Shop, Watsons, SM Appliance Center, Miniso, Ace Hardware, BDO and China Bank.
