A few years back, the City of Malabon was thrust into the limelight with the rising popularity of its “tricycle tours.”
These famed tours, then subject of many feature articles and social media posts, are supposed to bring you to a historical and gastronomic adventure throughout the city—from the different heritage sites and landmarks including the 400-year-old San Bartolome Church, to the home-based eateries.
No less than Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo herself expressed support to the local government of Malabon in promoting its own heritage and culinary tricycle tours, which started in December 2014.
Among the highlights of these tours, whose prices range from P250 to P900 per person include the Sy Juco, Nepomuceno and Ibavios ancestral houses; El Casa Katipunero; Artes de Paseo Art Gallery; Lugaw Experience; Hazel’s Puto and Puto Pao; Dolor’s Kakanin; and Betsy’s Cake Center.
But beyond this new relatively newfound tourism fame, Malabon, of course, remains primarily a residential and industrial location, offering a suburban flair while remaining conducive for businesses such as sugar refinery, as well as patis (fish sauce) and candle production.
In terms of residential developments, there are already a number of local players in the area, and one of them is Major Homes, a full-service real estate development firm.
Located along M.H. del Pilar Street in Malabon City is Major Homes’ Juez Residences, a 1.3-ha masterplanned vertical village composed of medium-rise residential buildings.
Among its key features include lush gardens and well-appointed amenities that cover some 70 percent of the total development. Units here range from 21 sqm to 24 sqm.
According to Major Homes, there are several reasons why you should consider Juez Residences for your next home in Malabon City.
Cosmopolitan lifestyle
Juez Residences’ strategic location makes it easier for residents to have access to urban comfort. This development is near other cities in the metro, key establishments and institutions, as well commercial, leisure and entertainment areas, be it via private or public transport. Apart from its proximity to the C4 Road, Juez Residences is also minutes away from the North Luzon Expressway and the MRT and LRT stations.
Dependable security
According to Major Homes, the project’s 24-hour security ensures the safety of its residents. State-of-the-art CCTV and access control systems as well as electrified perimeter fences surround the protect the village round the clock.
Flood free
Yes, Malabon is widely known to many as a flood-prone area, but Major Homes claims that Juez Residences is a community that is “safely settled in the heart of Malabon. It is elevated and completely safe from the perils of flood and other hazards.”
Exciting amenities
Reclaim a peaceful state of mind, Major Homes urges, as its Juez Residences offers “an array of carefully designed amenities suited for relaxation: from a clubhouse set against a backdrop of lush landscaped gardens, to tree-lined paths, parks and playgrounds, accompanied with water features and pools.”
